IFB (Interuptable Fold Back) zijn gespecialiseerde systemen voor het cue'en naar acteurs en presentatoren. UItgangspunten zijn dat er alleen signaal is als er communicatie plaats vindt, en dat het een mono signaal betreft (ivm de veel lagere ruis van mono vs stereo FM overdracht). Dit in tegenstelling tot IEM (In Ear Monitors), welke in basis continu en stereo zenden.
